The iOS 7 Cydia themes will soon arrive with more support devices such as the iPhone 5s which runs on the new 64 bit Apple A7 processor.
While the iOS 7 jailbreak arrived last year and updates enabled a good collection of iOS 7 Cydia tweaks for users to use, this latest update unlocks the ability to deliver better themes on iOS 7 devices.
The reasons not to use the iOS 7 jailbreak are shrinking as more iOS 7 compatible jailbreak apps arrive and now that users can expect iOS 7 Cydia themes to arrive the reasons to jailbreak are winning out for more users.
In order for iOS 7 Cydia themes to work on the iPhone 5s and other iOS 7 devices with an Apple A7 processor jailbreak users needed a new version of WinterBoard for iOS 7. WinterBoard is the app that manages themes for users allowing users to toggle Cydia themes on and off easily without knowing about the backend of the iPhone and iOS 7.
Jay Freeman, the man behind Cydia and developer of WinterBoard just released a new version with ARM64 compatibility which means it should work with the iPhone 5s and iOS 7. Just make sure you update or download the WinterBoard 0.9.3912 version from Cydia.
WinterBoard 0.9.3912 (just released) runs on iOS 7 and seems compatible with ARM64; theme artists are encouraged to report any crashes/bugs.

WinterBoard is a free Cydia tweak, but many of the iOS 7 Cydia themes will not be free to install, at least not the best looking ones.
Developers are already working on new iOS 7 Cydia themes for the iPhone 5s and other devices. These range in price from $0.99 to a few dollars. If you purchased a theme on a previous jailbreak it may be available to download, but some developers may take this opportunity to sell a new iOS 7 version. This would make sense as it looks like there is some significant work to be done to update a Cydia theme for iOS 7 and the iPhone 5s.
WinterBoard 0.9.3912 update with arm64 and iOS 7 is out so I can fully test and optimize ayecon—expect an update soon. Thank you @saurik!

Surenix, the man behind one of our favorite Cydia themes is now working on ayecon for iOS 7 thanks to the WinterBoard update. This is just one of the iOS 7 WinterBoard themes we hope to see in the next several weeks as developers update themes to support the iPhone 5s and iOS 7.
