Lingering iOS 8 Problems

While we do expect the iOS 8.4.1 update to come with some fixes for iOS 8 problems, we expect some of these iOS 8 problems to linger. 

We're already seeing complaints about iOS 8.4 problems and many of these issues are extremely common problems that pop up after every iOS update. Things like abnormal battery drain, connectivity issues, problems with Touch ID, and so on. 

There are also some smaller, more isolated problems that are going to be a lot harder for Apple or its developer partners to fix in a few weeks. 

We wouldn't expect iOS 8.4.1 to fix everything. iOS 8 problems, big and small, will probably continue to linger just like they have in the months since the iOS 8.0 release back in September.

This is why we always tell people to stop relying on Apple for fixes. Instead, you'll want to start digging into other manual fixes. We've prepared a solid list of fixes that you'll want to check out and commit to memory for the future.
