We expect Apple and its beta testers to wipe out the glaring problems contained in the iOS 8.4 beta. However, problems always slip through the cracks and you can count on seeing, and hearing, complaints about iOS 8.4 problems. 

After every iOS update we always see complaints about battery drain and peformance issues. Owners of older devices often encounter lag in the aftermath of an update. 

We also tend to hear about other smaller, more isolated issues: App crashes, Exchange issues, missing files, things of that nature. Apple's discussion boards will almost certainly fill up with complaints after the iOS 8.4 release. It never fails. 

Apple's done a pretty good job of wiping out hero level issues before release so we would not expect a repeat of iOS 8.0.1.
