The latest iOS 9 beta has shed some light on new features that should come with the public iOS 9 release. There's always a chance that Apple pulls some of these back at the last second but for now, it's safe to assume that these features will be coming to all iOS 9 devices.
The iOS 9 beta 5 comes with a number of new and exciting features and one of them is called Wi-Fi Assist. It's a nice little addition that should please a lot of people, especially those who are still grandfathered into unlimited data plans.
This new feature has appeared in the Cellular section of Settings. When the feature is turned on it will "automatically use cellular data when Wi-Fi connectivity is poor."
This is going to be an extremely useful feature for a lot of people though those that don't have unlimited data will need to keep a close eye on data with the feature turned on.
