Published

Apple has, rather quietly, launched its latest iPhone, the iPhone 4S, in more than 20 new countries around the world. Apple planned to get the iPhone 4S to more than 70 countries by the end of the year and it appears that the company is well on its way to achieving that goal.

The news comes just a few short days after Apple launched the iTunes Store in several countries in Latin American.

So, which countries are now seeing the iPhone 4S up for sale?

Well, according to Electronista, it has arrived in 21 new markets.

They include:

Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

The device isn’t cheap though. The Brazilian model costs R$2599 which is around $1,418 in US money and those in Russia will have to pay the equivalent of $1,166 US to get their hands on an iPhone 4S.
