iPhone 5 Release Date to Make Apple Most Profitable Company Ever

The iPhone 5 release date this fall could be the device that pushes Apple over the edge to become the most profitable publicly traded company ever.

Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White believes that the iPhone 5, an iPad Mini and the possible Apple TV will deliver sales that will help Apple, “generate the highest annual net income of any publicly traded company ever.”

The bold claim comes in a note to investors published Monday morning, shared by Boy Genius Report.

Apple’s net income could come in 4x higher than the average of tech companies included in White’s note.

It should come as no surprise that Topeka Capital Markets and White call Apple stock [AAPL] a buy, with a target of $1,111, nearly double the current value.

White is not alone in his estimates that the iPhone 5 release date will push Apple stock to new heights.

KGI Analyst Mingchi Kuo, believes that Apple will ship a taller iPhone 5 in September or October, and that the company will sell 65-70 million iPhone 5 units in 2012.

With the lack of support for many iOS 6 features on the iPhone 3GS and lack of the latest flagship features on the iPhone 4 Apple customers have increased incentive to upgrade when the new iPhone 5 release date arrives.

iPhone 5 Rumor Roundup

The next Phone, which many are calling the iPhone 5, will likely launch this fall with a larger 4-inch display. Analysts expect that this display will change the aspect ratio of the iPhone display, giving the new iPhone a distinctly taller look when used to make calls, and a widecscreen HDTV look when held in landscape.

Analysts differ on the details, but nearly all sources point to a faster 4G LTE iPhone 5, capable of download speeds 10 times faster than the current iPhone. Many carriers, including Sprint, AT&T, C-Spire and Verizon will have 4G LTE networks ready for the iPhone 5 this fall and recent plan changes suggest carriers are readying to capitalize on an influx of data usage from a 4G LTE iPhone.

Many claimed iPhone 5 parts have leaked, providing a glimpse at what the iPhone 5 might look like. The parts show a taller iPhone with a new dock connector and a 4-inch display. The video below shows one rendering of what the iPhone 5 may look like.

Apple is so good at guarding secrets that Samsung copied the security for the launch fo the Galaxy S III. With this in mind, Apple may have a completely different iPhone model in the works, tucked away behind locked doors.

iPad Mini & Apple TV Rumors

iPad Mini rumors

Is this the iPad Mini?

The iPad Mini, a smaller 7-inch iPad tablet is a rumor that won’t go away. We shared pictures of what sources claim is the back of the iPad Mini, but the device still remains clouded in Apple secrecy. A smaller iPad would allow Apple to sell a cheaper more portable tablet, which could compete with the Nook Tablet and Kindle Fire on price. This tablet could add greatly to Apple’s bottom line.

Apple HDTV iTV

Is the iTV coming this fall with the iPhone 5?

The Apple TV is another mythical Apple product that remains a mystery. The Apple TV is more than the small black box Apple currently sells. Rumors say that it is a large HDTV with iOS 6 and perhaps Siri control.

Everytime Apple holds an event sources claim the company will reveal the iPad Mini and the Apple TV, but so far Apple has not shared any details. It’s possible that the iPhone 5 release date this fall will also share the spotlight with one of these new Apple devices.

My Samsung flip-phone suddenly started acting up while trying to text. I can still make calls. The option exists now to stay with it till the iPhone 5, or get the 4S now. Any idea on when the 5 will drop, and coming from a flip-phone background is it worth waiting, or should I call it good with the 4S now? Thank you.

Is there anything I can do in the meantime with my flip-phone, like a temporary upgrade? (I’m not a tech-guy.) Thank you so much for taking the time to reply; I appreciate it!

You can get a refurbished simple phone from your carrier. Also stores like Target also carry simple, inexpensive phones that work with each carrier. Be careful and make sure you pick the right one though. These phones usually cost $35-50

I really wish I had the iphone 4s, at least 4s. I have a piece of crap phone right now and I’m going to college soon. -.- I’m on my ipod all the time and I don’t think it can last that much longer. I hate carrying my phone and ipod everywhere because they both take up so much room. I wish I just had an iphone, cuz that way it would save room instead of bringing both.
But the problem is also that the monthly bill are so expensive right?
