Remmeber, Apple's slimmed down the size of its iOS 9 update so that owners of 8GB and 16GB models don't have to delete a ton of files to install the update Over-the-Air through Settings. We still don't know how big (or small) the iPhone 5s iOS 9 update will be exactly but we expect it to require about a little more than 1GB of free space to install properly on the iPhone 5s. The iPhone 6 requires 1.3GB and we expect the iPhone 5s update to be fairly similar. If you don't want to delete files to install the update OTA, remember that you can simply install the update via iTunes. Despite the changes, we expect iOS 9 to deliver installation problems, particularly during peak hours, right after the update is released. If you don't want to deal with long download times, wait a few hours for the update to settle. And if your update gets stuck, you'll want to hold down the power button and home button for ten seconds or so until the iPhone 5s reboots.
