A new iPhone 5S video has turned up ahead of Apple’s rumored September iPhone launch event and this video offers consumers a glimpse at what the gold champagne iPhone 5S will look like next to the iPhone 5C, Apple’s new plastic iPhone.
iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C rumors have been swirling around for months now and it appears that the rumors might be put to rest on September 10th. Apple is thought to be hosting an iPhone event that day wherein it will be showing off iPhones and not iPads.
The company is expected to debut a high-end iPhone 5S to replace the current iPhone, the iPhone 5, and a cheaper plastic iPhone currently thought to be called the iPhone 5C. Both devices have emerged from the shadows numerous times over the past few weeks, including on video, where we’ve been able to snag a detailed look at Apple’s new products.
A new video from DetroitBORG shows off the rumored gold champagne iPhone 5S compared to the iPhone 5 and the plastic iPhone 5C, offering a close up with Apple’s new iPhones and showing just how they will compare to the current model.
The video doesn’t offer much in terms of new, we’ve seen the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C leak out many times at this point, but it does offer some extreme closeups and a very detailed look at their shells.
Again, we see that the gold iPhone 5S isn’t going to be dark gold but a champagne color. We also see the device’s oval shaped hole for its new LED flash. As for the iPhone 5C, we see a plastic white back that falls in line with the images and video that we’ve seen emerge in recent weeks.
The video offers further proof of Apple’s iPhone plans, plans that should be revealed in just a few short weeks.
The iPhone 5S is expected to retain a design similar to the iPhone 5S which should mean a slim lightweight frame made out of anodized aluminum. It’s expected to have a 4-inch display, a new processor, a much improved camera, fingerprint reader and iOS 7. Rumors suggest that it could be out on September 20th with major carriers likely being its destination.
As for the iPhone 5C, it’s thought to have a 4-inch Retina Display, 8MP camera, slim profile, plastic design available in a number of colors, Lightning port, and a price geared towards cheap Android phones that have flooded the market.
