iPhone 5s vs iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus Battery Life
Apple announced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus this afternoon, revealing new iPhones with larger screens and dramatically longer iPhone 6 battery life.
While the iPhone 6 battery life is an increase the iPhone 6 plus battery life is an even bigger bump in battery life thanks to the larger and thicker design.
Normally battery life claims are not something you can put much faith in, but Apple normally delivers close to the promised iPhone battery life to the majority of users.
Here’s how the iPhone 6 battery life compares across the two new iPhones and the iPhone 5s. These are Apple’s claims, so you’ll want to wait for the iPhone 6 reviews to see how it handles in the real world.

The most interesting jump is from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 6 plus, where we see a 50% increase in the Audio playback, four more hours of video playback and six more days of standby time on the largest iPhone 6.
The new iPhone 6 includes a larger 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 6 plus features a 5.5-inch display that both likely need more power. The larger body allows Apple to put a bigger battery in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but there is not a specific battery size yet.
Apple also announced the Apple Watch a new timepiece that connects to the new iPhones.
