Published

on

Apple’s confirmed an iPhone 6 iOS 9 update for the fall and thanks to mounting evidence, we’re starting to get a feel for when the update might get released. With that in mind, we want to take a look at the most important iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus iOS 9 update details you should know right now.

In June, Apple hosted its annual WWDC event for developers. There, the company outlined a number of new products including a brand new iOS operating system appropriately called iOS 9. iOS 9 will be coming to replace the iOS 8 update sometime later this year.

On stage, Apple outlined many of the key iOS 9 update details. It confirmed several features, announced an iOS 9 beta, and revealed that it would release the iOS 9 update in the fall. It did not, however, confirm a specific iOS 9 release date for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.

In the weeks since WWDC 2015, we’ve heard a lot about the iOS 9 update and its release. We’ve seen iOS 9 betas confirm new features and we’ve seen rumors outline what we can expect from the iOS 9 release date. Nothing is confirmed yet but things are certainly starting to take shape.

Apple’s confirmed an iOS 9 update for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. This doesn’t come as a surprise given that they arrived with iOS 8 on board. iPhones are typically updated for three years before they’re kicked to the curb.

As we’ve made our way into the summer, we’ve learned more about the iOS 9 release and the iPhone 6 iOS 9 update and today we want to take a look at the most important things iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users need to know about as we push into the month of September.
