New Processor = Faster LTE, Better Battery Life?
The iPhone 6 comes with Apple's A8 processor. It delivers excellent performance including solid battery life. The iPhone 6s Plus will probably be the more powerful of the two though.
Apple is reportedly shifting to a new Qualcomm modem to double LTE speeds on the iPhone 6s Plus. LTE is an integral part of the iPhone experience and this would be a huge addition to Apple's iconic smartphone.
We haven't seen any benchmarks appear just yet but rumors point to a powerful chip that will help deliver even better battery life on the iPhone 6s Plus. The iPhone 6 Plus already gets better battery like than the iPhone 6.
There's also been a ton of chatter about 2GB of RAM, something that would also help the next-gen iPhone offer enhanced performance. If you want the most powerful iPhone on the planet, we'd hold out for the iPhone 6s Plus.
