We mentioned Force Touch. Force Touch display technology is currently available on the new MacBook and Apple Watch and iPhone 6s rumors have all but confirmed it for the new iPhone models.
Force Touch might not be the devices biggest selling point but it's extremely exciting nonetheless and here's why.
If it's on board, it would allow the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to detect a harder press on the screen. In turn, this new gesture could open up a new set of controls and shortcuts that aren't available on other iPhone models.
On the Apple Watch, Force Touch brings up a different set of controls that provide faster access to key apps and features. The iPhone 6s' Force Touch could work in the same way and deliver useful shortcuts to its users.
