The front-facing iPhone 6s camera now uses a 5MP sensor, which is a big upgrade from the 1.2MP sensor in the iPhone 6.

With the new sensor we also get a Retina Flash. The iPhone 6s can use the processor to detect the flash hue, like with the rear-facing flash, and then flash the Retina screen to deliver a new selfie flash.
