The iPhone 6s uses a 12MP camera, which is part of what enables many of the new camera features like better panoramas, Live Photos, 4K video recording and better looking photos. 

Apple delivers the same 12MP camera in the iPhone se, with the same features. The main difference is in the front-facing camera which is better on the iPhone 6s with a 5MP sensor compared to the 1.2MP sensor on the iPhone se. 

Despite this difference the iPhone se can still flash the front screen for a selfie flash, just like the iPhone 6s.
