|You might recognize this contraption from our CES coverage. Josh and Xavier both rocked the mCAM with the iPhone 4S to film some amazing video at the show. It doesn’t double for a normal use case, so it’s not for casual or quick shots. The aluminum casing doesn’t add a lot of weight, though it feels quite sturdy and cuts down on shaky video. It sports a 37mm .45x wide-angle/macro combo lens and the kit includes a mic attachment. The best part of the mCAM is its versatility; it can stand up without extra support on a flat, stable surface, there are multiple tripod mounting points and neck strap holders, plus hotshoe and bracket mounting points if you want to attach a light and/or extra mic, as we did. | $169 @ Action Life Media|
