If you’re considering an iPod Touch or an iPhone for your mobile arsenal, Apple just released new versions with increased storage today. The iPod Touch now has a 32GB modle and the iPhone can now hold 16GB. Both will cost an extra $100 for the new versions, with the 32GB Touch running $499 and the 16GB iPhone at $499.
I have to say I’ve fallen in love with the iPod Touch as a part of my kit and I’m planning on using it extensively on my next trip as I posted here. That said, I can really see how the connectivity of an iPhone would make this an even better experience for me, but not until the AT&T service improves here locallly; or for my travels, they up the coverage to 3G.
