The iPhone 5 is one of the most anticipated pieces of hardware out there, which is why I get excited every time I see a new leak of some piece that is supposed to be part of the iPhone 5.
Today, I have another collection of iPhone 5 parts to share, the most interesting being the back of the iPhone 5, which is plastic and white.
The part leaks add to the rumors that we will see an iPhone 5 announcement in September and an iPhone 5 release date in October.
The most notable thing to me about this leak is that it gives us our first look at the reported back of the iPhone 5. It is hard to say for certain, but it looks like the back is made of plastic and has a slight curve to it, much like some of the iPhone 5 mock ups we shared this morning.
The iPhone mockup is dated to June 7th, 2011 and has a label that marks it as an Engineering Verification Test model. The unit has a N94 on the back which has been associated with previous iPhone 5 leaks.
This leak doesn’t show off a lot of the iPhone 5 rumors we had heard, which could mean it will be to the iPhone 4S or cheaper iPhone 4 that is rumored to arrive.
MacPost has a collection of additional images showing you all types of iPhone 5 internals.
