Joby GorillaPod Go-Go, Please Come-Come

This is something I’ve been looking forward to the release of, and I’m hoping it is close. I’ve been intrigued by the Joby GorillaPod as a tripod for my cameras for awhile now, but I’ve been holding off until they release the Go-Go edition which preveiwed at CES. The Go-Go edition not only will attach to those ubiquitous screw-in attachments on digital cameras and video cameras (amazing how that industry can standarize on those kind of things) but it also comes with a suction-cup clip that will allow you to use almost any device. Of course I’m looking at this for some video viewing on my iPod Touch, but it can also come in handy for some of my other gadgets as well.

The site keeps saying coming in March and I’ve signed up for an email alert. March is running out, so I’m hoping this is available soon. Amazing what can happen when your gadget lust raises its ugly head.
