Latest Verizon iPhone Rumor Features Post Holiday Release

Verizon iPhone rumors aren’t really even a dime a dozen. It seems like hardly a day goes by without a new one. That said, MacDaily News is posting this latest one that says Verizon and Apple are planning a post holiday release of a LTE capable iPhone and that training has already begun with working units in managers hands.

According to the rumor, this phone will have CDMA backwards capability since LTE is just really starting to be rolled out. Apparently, again according to the source, AT&T’s final hold over Apple was that they not release the new phone until after the Christmas holidays to help AT&T with sales. If any of this is true, that must have been a tough pill for Verizon to swallow.

This comes on the heels of a report that Verizon has been suffering due to iPhone sales. Again, I’m not so sure how much accuracy you can assign this.
