LG G3 Stylus Leaks to Battle the Galaxy Note 4
Months ahead of the official LG G3 announcement back in May rumors were running wild that the company had multiple new smartphones in the works for 2014, and two of them have already been announced. However, a newer, bigger LG G3 Stylus may be coming soon to battle the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
With the new LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 both readily available to buyers around the globe, consumers may be looking forward to what else is coming later this year. One of course is the often rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 4, expected to be revealed in September and released sometime in October, and now it looks like LG may be preparing something to compete with what’s next from Samsung.

Last month the LG G3 finally arrived for buyers in the United States, but it was quickly followed by a smaller 5-inch LG G3 Mini, also known as the LG G3 Beat. A new commercial released by LG is showing off it’s latest Mini phone, but it’s what’s at the end that should have buyers excited.
The Samsung Galaxy Note series has been extremely popular over the past few years, and if all rumors and previous releases are accurate, the new Galaxy Note 4 is coming sometime next month. While the new LG G3 comes with a large 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display, the company is seemingly preparing another phone aimed at taking on Samsung’s Note 4.
Shown in the image above, and at the end of the video below, is the new LG G3, the LG G3 Beat (Mini) and an unknown device they’re calling the LG G3 Stylus. From the image it appears to be a bigger smartphone than the current flagship G3, meaning the company could have a 5.7-inch or bigger smartphone in the works.

Thus far we’ve yet to hear any reports, rumors, or leaks about a new LG smartphone with a built-in stylus, but here LG has prematurely outed the new smartphone a bit early.
Without getting into it to much, since it’s a mystery handset for now, we’ll let you watch the ridiculous new LG G3 Beat commercial below, but pay attention at the end.
With a name like the LG G3 “Stylus” one can only assume this smartphone is aimed at Samsung’s incoming Galaxy Note 4, but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a stylus-touting device from LG. That being said, the company is clearly aiming for Samsung as of late, and a new smartphone geared at taking on whatever is next from Samsung seems likely.
The video doesn’t reveal much aside from the name and size of the device. Quickly showing off the trio of smartphones with the stylus sliding out of the top of the LG G3 Stylus, but that’s all we know at this point. From the looks of things it will feature the same large HD display, or one bigger, rear-facing buttons, the latest version of Android and more, but we did notice the camera was missing LG’s new laser auto-focus. Which means this could be a budget device.
For now it’s too early to tell exactly what LG has in store, but if this video is anything to go on the company could be preparing a new, larger, faster LG G3 Stylus in hopes of competing with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 sometime this fall. This is the first sighting for the new LG G3 Stylus, but we can expect additional details to surface in the coming weeks or months.

Okay, LG, you have my attention. If the stylus as precise as the Note’s, I’ll certainly consider it.
