Following recent leaks of the LG Spectrum 2 for Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network, we now have leaked images of accessories for the smartphone that the carrier will officially support. The LG Spectrum 2 will be a high-end offering from LG to combat against the HTC One X on AT&T, the HTC EVO 4G LTE on Sprint, and the Samsung Galaxy S III on all major carriers right now. When launched, it will likely also have to compete against the much rumored Motorola Droid RAZR HD.
According to Engadget, the LG Spectrum 2 will accommodate a number of optional accessories should potential owners be interested, including a windshield-mounted car navigation dock, a desktop dock that seemingly can accommodate and charge a second battery, as well as some case/holster combination that comes with a built-in kickstand. The case combo has been a Verizon accessory that’s also been available in the past for other phone models as well, including Apple’s iPhone 4/4S as well as the Samsung Droid Charge.
Prior leaked specs indicate that the LG Spectrum 2 will support Verizon’s 4G LTE network and come equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. The smartphone will have a 4.7-inch True HD IPS screen and will have an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera. It will have 1 GB of RAM and will launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and not the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
