Line Rider Becomes a Phenomenon

Published

on

Linerider2Who knew? We’ve posted about Line Rider on GottaBeMobile.com before, but who knew it would turn into such a phenomenon. Line Rider is a clever time waster that offers you the opportunity to sketch a series of lines that you then send a little sledding figure to traverse. Of course half the fun is seeing how and when the sledder crashes, at least I thought so up to this point.

Michael Parekh links to an article by NY Times tech wrtier, David Pogue, in which he chronicles the phenomenon. Michael also notes that if you search YouTube you’ll find 5300 videos of the little sledding Line Rider, and apparently folks are being quite creative and also elaborate in their sketches. Michael links to a couple of videos on his site, including a James Bond-like escapade.
