Linux UMPCs: Will They Run The Beryl Touchscreen Experience?

Here’s a question that I’d like to see answered by someone smarter than me. There is a lot of excitement over the news from the Intel Developers Forum about Linux being used as an OS on the new Ultra-Mobile PC platform. So, will they be able to run this kind of touchscreen experience using Beryl?
