New Madden 17 Commentary Team

For Madden 17 on Xbox One and PS4 there is a new commentary team. That means you will not need to hear, "It's better to be ahead than behind," one more time. It remains to be heard if the new team and the new game will avoice repeating phrases every 1.5 games, but we can hope. 

The team at EA Spoets shares, "In Madden NFL 17, the design and engineering team started from scratch, completely demolishing the old commentary framework, and rebuilding it from the ground up. This meant completely re-engineering our logic, adding thousands of new gameplay variables to create the deepest commentary logic in Madden NFL history. The result is that the game is now smarter, and is able to talk to game situations in ways it was never able to before, helping to immerse you the player in the story of a game."

If this works you will hear changes that better account for team chemistry, football tactics, team availability and there will be updates to commentary after the Madden 17 release date. 

Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis are the new voices of Madden 17 commentary, with backgrounds in sports commentary and as analysts, at the very least we will hear new voices and there is a good chance that we will get better overal commentary. 

When major plays and team moments happen during the NFL season in the real world, updates will bring that commentary to Madden 17 as well.
