Apple normally uses major product announcements to cut older products out of the stores. 9to5Mac reports that the iPad Air and iPad mini 2 are likely going away after this event. We could see some deals on these devices as Apple and other retailers clear out stock, in addition to price changes for the iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5s. Over the weekend we spotted one local retailer placing the older iPad models on clearance, and a display case looking emptier than normal -- three weeks before the rumored event. | |||||||||||
