Microsoft took the wraps off of the final release of its Windows Live applciations yesterday. From what I’ve read (I haven’t updated anything yet) there are not many changes from the last beta to the final release versions. If you’re unfamiliar with how they’ve been rolling this out, there is now a one stop installer for the following Windows Live apps:
- Windows Live Messenger 8.5
- Windows Live Mail
- Windows Live Writer
- Windows Live Photo Gallery
- Windows Live OneCare Family Safety
From the installer you can pick and choose which Live apps you’d like to use. I use Messenger, Live Writer, and Live Photo Gallery (which is really growing on me now that I can send photos from it to Flickr.) Here’s the download link.
