Microsoft Research funding educational Tablet PC projects

Do you work in the education sector and doing some research to study Tablet PC and learning? If so, you need to checkout this information from Lora Heiny:

Microsoft Research External Research & Programs group is accepting proposals from academic researchers “revising, updating, and validating curriculum and pedagogy in conjunction with tablet technology in higher education.” Microsoft plans four awards with a maximum of $100,000 each. It is open to all disciplines, as long as the focus remains on educational evaluation and evidence gathering for the use of tablet technology in the classroom.

Notification of Awards: Monday, February 12, 2007
Public Announcement of Awards: Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the ACM SIGCSE conference
