MLB The Show 16 Battle Royale

There is a new player vs player mode in MLB The Show 16 called Battle Royale. This reminds us of Draft Champions in Madden 16.

When you play Battle Royale you use your stubs to buy elite players for the draft. In this mode you pick a MLB legend and then draft the rest of your team. From there you play a double elimination tournament of three inning games.

The first buy in is free, but each additional is 1,500 stubs. When you win you get a Standard Pack, even if you lose. If you win you can win some of the best players. You have a 25 round draft to pick your team, starting with the legend.

There are 55 legends in the game at this time. We will see five more come on the release date, and it is possible that we will see more come later. 

Pitcher energy is now scaled to the shorter game and the shorter mode will change your strategy.
