Sadly another thing we don't know yet, is the price. However, the original Moto 360 last year retailed for $249, and was eventually lowered to $199 and continued to receive discounts until Motorola discontinued sales last week, just in time to launch the new version in the coming days or weeks.
Motorola eventually launched an all stainless steel model for $299, which is what we're expecting the gold and metal versions this year to retail for. That means buyers can hopefully get a Black, Silver, or Gold Moto 360 with an array of different band textures, leathers, colors and more for $249, or a fully metal (stainless steel) option for $299. The gold version may cost more, but we're not sure.
Again, most of this is based off of last years model, leaks, and photos we've received over the past few weeks. If the September 8th date we mentioned earlier is accurate, we'll know everything and more soon enough.
For $249 the new Moto 360 should be a great option for smartwatch buyers. Those running Android, or with an iPhone that don't want the square calculator-style Apple Watch. Stay tuned for more details.
