Motorola Droid Bionic Finally Stars in Worthy Commercials

Published

on

The Motorola Droid Bionic is a fantastic phone. We said so in our review of it. However, for some reason, Verizon decided that its first dual-core 4G LTE smartphone, one of the best phones on the market, wasn’t worthy of a fantastic advertising campaign. The first commercials we saw, were, in a word, horrible. Sure, there were robots and a heroine, but they didn’t do much for the average consumer.

As I’ve said time and time again, the smartphone market is crazy right now and the last thing Verizon wants to do is confuse people. And that’s exactly what they did in those previous ads.

Today though, Verizon finally went back to the bread and butter. A powerful monotone voice discussing how powerful the Droid Bionic is. The commercials even show off some of the phone’s features.

Now these, these are good commercials.

I only wish that Verizon had started the campaign off with them.

Motorola and Verizon recently launched the Motorola Droid Bionic 4G Android smartphone handset on Verizon’s 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile broadband network at a retail price of $299 with a new two-year activation. The phone can be purchased at authorized retailers starting at $179.99.  Verizon has claimed that speeds on their 4G network are up to 10 times faster than their 3G alternatives.
