Multi-Touch Off The Table and Onto The Laptop?

Everybody is talking multi-touch between Apple’s iPhone (I haven’t heard much about that lately have you?) and Microsoft unveiling the PlayTable. Of course it begs the question when is multi-touch coming to a mobile computer near you. Long Zheng of istartedsomething links to a Microsoft Research video that contains a demo of multi-touch on a laptop screen.
