One of the first things I wanted to experiment with on my Dell Latitude XT and Windows 7 was the much ballyhooed multi-touch experience. Unfortunately, the bits and driver support were not in the pre-beta release that I’ve been testing, so I’ve not been able to dig in to that at all. Thanks to some detective work by our GBM forum member jhoff80, we’ve learned that N-Trig could be releasing Windows 7 multi-touch drivers any day now.
That makes me a very happy camper, as I finally get to start experimenting with a much-improved multi-touch experience via Windows 7 and the XT, and then show it off to our readers in much more detail.
