New ASUS Eee Just in Time for Easter

And sporting those Easter colors, too. Apparently the Asus Eee PC 2G Surf will be available in early 2008 for $299 in your choice of some lovely pastel colors. (I can say they’re lovely ‘cuz I’m a girl.) This is the entry model with 2GB SSD, 256MB RAM, and no webcam. I’d say this is definitely aimed at the "Not an Adult Male" market. Kids will love it, as well many women. At this price, I could get one in the lime green to coordinate with my raincoat.

In addition to the Lush Green Sky Blue, and Blush Pink, the Eee PC 2G Surf will still come in Galaxy Black and Pure White, so men are not totally excluded from this product lineup.

They really do remind me of Easter eggs.
