The New HTC One M8 is a mouthful of a name and until HTC settles it expect to see stores and carriers listing it in several ways. Whatever you want to call it, the new HTC One is an impressive smartphone that delivers a large screen, a new dual camera setup on the back of the device and HTC Sense 6 on top of Android 4.4.2.

The all new HTC One is $199 on a two-year contract with Verizon and there is currently a buy one get one free deal for select users. The HTC One M8 is available in Verizon stores starting on march 25th, and it is also available on AT&T and Sprint online for similar prices. Each carrier is also selling it on a new payment plan for around $25 a month. The T-Mobile HTC One M8 will arrive next month.

Like any other device the box includes paperwork, a charger and a Micro USB cord. There is a pair of headphones for the new HTC One that include a small remote button to answer calls. There is also a small SIM Card and Micro SD card removal tool. The New HTC One M8 uses a smaller nano SIM, like the iPhone 5s and Moto X, which is worth keeping in mind if you plan to switch between phone

HTC made a big deal about the HTC One M8 design during the announcement, and it’s hard to blame them. This is not a light phone, but the heft comes with a very solid feel. The curved metal back sweeps up to the edges of the 5-inch display and fits nicely in a single hand, though some users may have trouble reaching every corner with a thumb.

The HTC One runs a new version of HTC Sense that includes new BlinkFeed, a new Camera app that is designed to take advantage of the dual cameras on the back of the device by letting users re-focus a photo after they take it. HTC sticks with the UltraPixel camera strategy, which uses larger pixels to deliver better low light performance.
