The large touchpad on the 2015 MacBook allows for a bigger canvas to use gestures and to mouse across the high-resolution screen without picking up a finger to reposition.
Apple includes a new Force Touch technology that doesn't actually click, but it simulates a click with incredible realism. The biggest adjustment is when and how to Force Touch for secondary features. When I am using Safari I can force click on a word for a definition, but this doesn't work in Chrome. The place I use this most often is in Finder where a force click opens a preview. This is easier to do than a three-finger tap like on a regular Mac touchpad. |
