Nexus 6 Deal Offers Huge Discount

Published

Since first being released back in November Google’s flagship Motorola Nexus 6 smartphone has seen its share of good deals and discounts, and this week an impressive Nexus 6 deal arrived on T-Mobile saving prospective buyers a big chunk of change.

We saw a few pretty decent Nexus 6 deals back during the Black Friday frenzy, as well as a couple in January, but today T-Mobile announced they’ll be offering the huge 5.96-inch Nexus 6 smartphone for $100 less than what Google’s asking.

In January Expansys offered up the phone for about $50 off, and if you were one of the unlucky few that missed that deal, and are with T-Mobile, you can get it for an even lower price. The best part about this is you’ll save $100 outright off the phone, and with no contracts on T-Mobile, you can use it on any carrier and still enjoy the savings.

As a reminder the Nexus 6 offers a large 5.96-inch Quad-HD display, a powerful quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, and a quality 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. It’s the first Nexus phone with a big battery, coming in at 3,220 mAh, so you won’t be searching for a charger halfway through the day like most do with the Nexus 5.

The 32GB Nexus 6 comes in at $649, and the 64GB is even more running buyers $699. It’s the most expensive Nexus ever released, but T-Mobile has both models available right now for $100 off.

In our review of the Nexus 6 we praised it for being the best Nexus smartphone to date, offering some of the best speakers of any smartphone available, having excellent battery life and a stunning display. Yes, it’s a little big for some, but you’ll quickly get used to the size. However, we’d recommend trying it out in a store first before making such an expensive purchase. Thankfully the Nexus 6 is available from AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon, so you can try one out anywhere.

Currently at the T-Mobile store you can get the 32GB Nexus 6 for only $549 instead of the usual $649 asking price, and they’ve also lowered the 64GB model to only $599. This is by far the best deal we’ve seen yet, and certainly makes it easier to swallow that expensive price point if you’re not getting it on contract.

At the same time, if you plan to use the Nexus 6 on T-Mobile these same lower prices work with their contract-free plans and monthly payment options. That means that if you sign a 2-year payment plan with T-Mobile for the Nexus 6 you’ll be spending $22.91 instead of almost $28 a month.

The T-Mobile Nexus 6 is carrier unlocked and can be used on any carrier in the US, including Verizon, as long as you have an active SIM card. Making this a great deal for anyone, not just T-Mobile customers.

Google’s Nexus 6 was recently updated to the new Android 5.1 Lollipop release aimed at fixing multiple bugs and issues, and it’s the first and only device that will work with Google’s new Project Fi mobile network that aims to take on Verizon, AT&T, and the rest.

We’re still waiting for the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to hit the Nexus 6, but in the meantime get one now for $100 off exclusively from T-Mobile. We are not sure how long this deal will be available, so snag one now before they’re all gone.
