Google’s new Nexus 6 is a whale of a smartphone, a phablet if you will, coming in with a massive 5.96-inch Quad-HD display and some stunning features to accompany the new Android 5.0 Lollipop. And while we can’t show you everything just yet, below we’ll compare it to Samsung’s latest phablet.

In our video below you’ll see a side by side comparison of the new Nexus 6 compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. They both have huge screens, impressive specs, and will be available from all five major carriers in the United States. The Nexus 6 release date hasn’t arrived yet, but hopefully this will help prospective buyers have a better idea of what it’s about before they buy.

Last month Google announced the all new Nexus 6 smartphone along with the Nexus 9 tablet, and Android 5.0 Lollipop. Later, it confirmed a Nexus 6 pre-order date for October 29th. Right on time, the Nexus 6 went up for pre-order as expected, but sold out in less than 5 minutes by my count.

The Nexus 6 went up for pre-order last week but didn’t last long. Many buyers were angry with the pre-order problems, but rest assured, all five carriers will be offering it soon and you’ll have a chance to get one. For those who’ve ordered, or plan to, read on and watch our video below showing off the sheer size of this impressive new flagship Google smartphone.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is one of the biggest and most impressive smartphones released in 2014. Featuring a big 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display, and is a phablet just like the previous versions. The Nexus 6 though, is even bigger with a 5.96-inch Quad-HD display and front facing speakers. All that said, it’s only a hair longer than the Galaxy Note 4, and about the same size elsewhere.

Buying a phone is a big decision, especially when it’s one of this size. The Nexus 6 is the biggest Nexus ever released, and it came as a big surprise for many potential buyers. We’ve received a lot of questions regarding this exact thing, and received countless comments from Nexus users looking for a new phone, as the Nexus 6 isn’t for them. The video above was made to show you exactly that. Software and features aside, these phones are quite similar in size, and will make any user extremely happy.

I have been asking at retailers for the release for the Note Edge. Every employee in there is clueless of when the Edge is being released. Can this article clarify if it is going to be released on the 14th. I’ m anxious for this new thing. I am a big Samsung fan, and this is getting hard to be waiting on not really knowing when.
