Barnes & Noble reports that those of you who pre-ordered the new Nook with the GlowLight feature should start seeing them in the mail this week. B&N is shipping them ahead of the previously announced schedule which is becoming a theme for the bookseller.
The GlowLight won’t hit stores until the beginning of May, so it looks like the lion’s share of the stock is going to people who’ve already bought the device.
However, if you want to get this eReader as a gift for Mother’s Day or graduation, B&N suggests you pre-order now since they’re selling well. The implication is that they might sell out in a hurry.

A big one for me is that I can heed my mother’s sage advice to not read in the dark. I’m such a voracious reader that I’ll huddle by the weakest light source just to finish my book, but the GlowLight makes the huddling and eye-strain unnecessary.
