Above we detailed five things we'll likely see in the major October Clash of Clans update, but there are a few other things that could be coming. These are highly requested, but doubtful arrivals.

Heros available for war while upgrading, or even a third hero. Supercell makes tons of money off gamers using gems to speed up King & Queen upgrades to use them in war, so we doubt they'll ever let us use them in war while upgrading. That said, every other unit works while being upgraded, so it's a small possibility. 

On April 1st Supercell teased a 3rd hero was in the works, which of course was only an April Fools joke. Or was it?

Each hero has an Alter they sleep on while regenerating after being attacked, and in the teaser linked to above above if you look close there was a third Alter. It was only a joke, but in the future we could see some sort of 3rd hero arrive. The only problem with this is game mechanics. Keeping it fair and balanced is a very hard task that is always being tweaked, evolved, and improved.

In the end we see nothing ground-breaking here that will add or "attract" new players to the game, which is what we're hearing they hope to achieve with this update. What that tells me though, is that there could be something even bigger than everything mentioned above, that could get more players into what's already one of the most popular and addicting mobile games on the planet.
