Office 2007 SP 2 Due April 28 Office 2010 Still A Ways Away
Some Microsoft Office news to chew on and mark your calendars with. According to the Microsoft Update Product Team Blog, Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 will be rolling out on April 28. The big news in SP2 looks to be support for the OpenDocument format and the ability to save a document as a PDF/XPS file will now be built in. There have been extensions to do this for some time.
Check out some of the changes coming here.
And the next version of Office (that would be Office 2010 or Office 14 if you like code names) is scheduled for wider beta testing beginning in the third quarter of this year on its way to a launch sometime in the first half of 2010. Via CNet
