OneCare v2 Beta Released Into the Wild
Microsoft has opened up a beta of its OneCare Security solution for anyone to check out. Version 2 looks to have some interesting additions. Most notable is the ability to create a “OneCare Circle” or a group of machines that are linked together with one of them serving as a central hub. You can also share printers with other comptuers in your circle. That sounds to me that this is being readied for Windows Home Server.
According to Colin Walker, who has done a quick first tour of the new beta, the firewall and sharing has also been improved. You can sign up for the beta here.
