OQO Offers Live Support Chat



It is always good to see companies going the extra mile to help their customers. OQO is doing just that with their recently launched Live Support Chat. Here are the details:

OQO is pleased to announce a new support offering for OQO customers seeking assistance: Live Help.

With this free offering, customers can initiate interactive live chat sessions with technical and customer support agents at any time during our posted support hours.

Live Help will provide additional flexibility for our customers, and improve the level of support we can provide to customers from all around the world.

To access a trained agent via Live Help, simply click on the ““live help” link from the main OQO Support page ( and submit your request for support.

Support hours for live chat are the same as phone support hours:

U.S.: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 18:00 (PST)
International: Monday – Friday, 14:00-22:00 (GMT)

    I think this is great news. I also believe that OQO is prepping for a new device in H1 2009. Recently they have announced big discounts and retailers around the globe have been passing on the discounts too. I don’t think this is purely because of the economic crisis, but to move some old stock and develop infrastructure (ie Live Chat and EU direct support) for a major product launch in 09.

    Hopefully we see some news at CES or sooner.

    They might be prepping a new device. (I hope they are, actually.) However, they’ve been doing these sorts of discounts on and off since approximately last March.
