OS X Yosemite delivered the new Photos app that makes editing and organizing easier, and with OS X El Capitan you can now use Photo Editing extensions. Similar to how you can open a photo into an external editor from Photos on iPhone and iPad, OS X el Capitan includes fast links to other editing programs right from your Photo library.
