The Oscars are just hours away, which is when most Academy Awards fans will simply turn on the TV and watch whatever the show’s producers decide to show them. But there is a way to see much more of the awards show thanks to the Oscar Backstage Pass app, which is available for iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone devices for just $.99 at through iTunes store or on the iOS device’s App Store app.
The Oscar Backstage App lets users watch live video from cameras placed on the red carpet, all around the Kodak theater and even post-show parties. There are cameras placed backstage so users can follow their favorite stars’ paths after they receive their awards.
The official Oscar Backstage App will be loaded onto my iPad as we enjoy the 83rd Academy Awards tonight.
