Photo Booth, a popular app on the Mac OS X environment as it allows users to use the front-facing webcams on their Mac to take pictures and add various effects to the images, illuminating a different perspective of how you look at yourself. Apple is porting this popular and whimsical program to the iPad 2, which will make use of the tablet’s front- and/or rear-facing camera(s).

Additionally, there will also be a twist to the iPad 2 edition of Photo Booth. Users will be able to use their fingers to better manipulate the effects with touch, allowing them to scale up the effects or tone down the effects, something that wasn’t possible on the desktop edition.
