Radioshack and AT&T Drop Acer Aspire One to “$79.99”

Published

Radioshack is selling subsidized Acer Aspire One netbooks for $79.99, which is $20 less than when the retailer announced the netbook combo back in December. You’ll have to sign a two-year AT&T contract that costs at least $60 per month   to get the $79.99 netbook.

I don’t recommend buying a subsidized netbook as the category is developing by leaps and bounds. I think the best course of action for netbook users who want 3G is to get a USB modem that can be used on multiple devices.
