Wait for 5G Speeds (& More Carrier Support)
As we grow closer to the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 everyone is talking about 5G. Even though it's not quite ready yet, or mature enough, it's going to be all we hear about for the next 6-18 months.
The OnePlus 7T (or more likely the OnePlus 7T Pro) will mention 5G speeds and support as a main feature or selling point, and it'll potentially work with several different carriers in the United States and around the globe. Heck, we might even get a phone called the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G, which is ridiculous. OnePlus CEO even confirmed they're releasing a 5G phone this year. Essentially confirming the OnePlus 7T Pro
And while the OnePlus 7 Pro is only available unlocked or from T-Mobile in the US, it still works on AT&T, and Verizon as well. Now that we're seeing how great and successful its phones can be, we have a feeling this might finally be the release where other carriers get on board.
Don't be surprised if the OnePlus 7T finally comes to AT&T or Verizon, which will give you one more reason to wait for it if you're not at T-Mobile. We're even seeing leaks of exactly that, with rumors of Verizon selling OnePlus phones in 2020.
