From Wimbledon, to Tempe, AZ, to New Jersey, lots of folks are going Tablet PC. River Dell Regional High School in New Jersey will be equipping all ninth-grade students at the high school with Tablet PCs come next fall. 140 teachers and administrators received theirs this spring along with training and according to one teacher, Mustapha Elqariani, ““eventually we’ll go paperless.â€Â
Starting next fall, all ninth-grade students at the high school will be getting tablet laptops. The regional school district, which takes students from Oradell and River Edge, plans to give all its students laptops over the next few years.
“It’s what the kids will face in college and the workplace,” said Principal Lorraine Brooks. “We’ve discovered the tablets would meet a broad set of needs.”
