Sam’s Club Invites Non Members In For Tablet Savings

Published

You may know Sam’s Club best for their deep discounts n bulk paper towels and chicken wings, but they also have a thriving electronics section with pretty impressive deals.

To kick off the back to school season, Sam’s Club is inviting members and non members in to check out the savings available on tablets, notebooks and other electronics.

Typically you need a $40 to $50 a year Sam’s Club membership to shop at the wholesale store, but this weekend, August 5 thru 7th, you will be able to head in and do some shopping without a membership.

If you are already a member, or want to take advantage of this deal, you should take a look at the  following favorite Sam’s Club savings.

Sam’s Club may not be cutting costs by hundreds of dollars on these tablets, but $15 to $20 off is still a nice break for students who can spend that cash on iTunes apps or textbook rentals. The free $15 gift card for new college members further cuts the price, letting you pick up an iPad for as low as $470 and a TouchPad for $560.

While Sam’s Club may offer some decent deals on tablets, and has been known to offer good deals on notebooks, the HP Pavilion g6 they are currently selling for $450 isn’t worth your time.

We reviewed a $550 model of the HP Pavilion g6 and really liked it, but the low-end processor in the Sam’s Club Pavilion  g6 will leave you wanting for a faster computer by the third week of classes.

In addition to the hardware discounts, you can also find some amazing deals on iTunes gift cards, cutting up to $20 off the price of a $100 iTunes gift cards.

Students can get a discount on Sam’s Club memberships through the Sam’s Club Collegiate Membership. This student specific membership includes a $15 gift card when you sign up and a card to give to you roommate. You need a valid student ID and a university supplied .edu address to sign up. Collegiate Memberships cost $40, just like a standard Sam’s Club membership, but the $15 gift card is a bonus.

Great Idea for gift vouchers and gift cards to give away these tablets.

I just paid $22,87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38,76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62,81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, GrabPenny.com

not worth your time. If you were really looking at finding the best deal, you would have come across the Staples coupon of $100 off a tablet!!! Now THAT’S a bargain! Too bad it expired. You snooze you lose.
