Samsung Galaxy S III Release Date, U.S. Carriers and Price Predictions
At the Samsung Unpacked 2012 event in London, Samsung announced the Galaxy S III, sharing all the details about what the Galaxy S III looks like, Galaxy S III accessories and the new software that is a major part of the Galaxy experience.

Samsung announced the UK Galaxy S III release date, but remains quiet on three major pieces of information for U.S. customers looking for a Galaxy S III.
Samsung did not share the Samsung Galaxy S III U.S. release date, any U.S. carriers or the price of the Galaxy S III.
Samsung Galaxy S III U.S. Release Date
Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S III release date on U.S. carriers will be in the summer of 2012, but there is no official release date given.
Update: Samsung Says the U.S. Galaxy S III Release Date is June
This means we could see the Galaxy S III launch as early as June 20th, or as late as September 22nd, in the United States. These dates mark the beginning and ending of Summer, if Samsung goes with the real dates.
Given the rivalry between Apple and Samsung, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the U.S. Samsung Galaxy S III release date pegged for June, shortly after Apple announces new iOS 6 features at WWDC, and before the release of the iPhone 5.
Samsung Galaxy S III U.S. Carriers
Samsung announced two UK carriers for the Galaxy S III launch, but did not mention any carriers in the U.S. during the event. Samsung did confirm that the U.S. Galaxy S II will arrive on multiple carriers.

Sources say that the Galaxy S III will land on Sprint, and it’s a good bet that the Galaxy S III will also come to other carriers in the U.S. soon after it launches.
The inclusion of 4G LTE, existing partnerships and the prevalence of Galaxy S II models points to a release on Verizon and AT&T in the U.S., but we may see timed delays. T-Mobile will also likely see a version of the Galaxy S III.

Samsung issued the following statement about U.S. carriers for the Galaxy S III
Samsung Mobile is planning a U.S. version of Galaxy S III, optimized for the fastest LTE and HSPA+ networks in the U.S., which will be available in the summer of 2012. Exact timing and retail channel availability is not being announced at this time. We believe the Galaxy S III is the most anticipated product in the 20-year history of Samsung Mobile; therefore, we will continue to share information as it becomes available
Samsung Galaxy S III Price
Samsung was mum on the Galaxy S III price, even with the UK release in a few weeks. What we do know is that Samsung will offer 3 distinct models of the Galaxy S III, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
This matches the iPhone sizing, and I’m sure it’s no accident.
We’ll need to wait for the actual Galaxy S III announcement, but I would be surprised if the Galaxy S III prices did not match the iPhone 4S exactly
- Galaxy S III 16GB – $199
- Galaxy S III 32GB – $299
- Galaxy S III 64GB – $399
Samsung and carriers may also take on Apple with the Galaxy S II model, dropping to $99 or lower as the new Galaxy S III arrives.
Unlike the iPhone 4S, Galaxy S III owners can upgrade to more storage with a MicroSD card later.

Looks good, nice price point as well… I hope they fixed the antenna issue, i had a Gnex and the reception was HORRIBLE! Exchanged for Razr much improvement over the gnex when it came to reception… Didnt really care bout ICS 4 over reception..

I used to be an apple die hard fan, recently I changed my mind. I bought a Samsung Galaxy II LTE in Hong Kong few days a go. I tried the 4G network, it’s so amazing, it can download a video from YouTube just in a second. Besides, the screen is so HD and size is much lighter than iphone4.
Today, I read something blogs talking about Galaxy III, that make me have a desire for it too. It’s because the price is competitive, and the comfortable grip & only 8.6mm thin. Besides, there are 2 kind of colours: marble white and pebble blue.
It becomes 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Now, still support the microSD card for an extension memory, it’s just perfect to make up my mind, swap for it! Btw, I like the white one.
